Outreach Event with U.S. Department of State
On
June 23, 2011, the Washington D.C. Chapter of the Public Affairs
Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) will host an informative panel
discussion on changes to visa validity for Iranian students. This
event, which will be held at the George Washington University Law
Student Conference Center, will feature a panel that will include
representatives from the U.S. Department of State. In an effort to
further educate the Iranian American
community about the new visa policy for Iranian students, PAAIA is
collaborating with the Department of State to facilitate these type of
outreach events throughout the country. The meetings will be open to

FAMILY FUN DAY with the Iranian Medical Society of Greater Metro Washington - May 22, 2011
Dear Members, Colleagues and Friends:
In a joint effort with the Iranian Medical Society of Greater Metro Washington, IABA DC is pleased to announce a "family fun day", to take place at the Algonkian Regional Park's Picnic Area 1.
This event will take place on Sunday, May 22, 2011, and will involve activities for kids such as pony rides, a moon bounce, face painting, as well as a DJ for all to enjoy. Food and beverages over and above treats for the children will be available for purchase.
All are welcome, admission is $5 cash, to be paid on site, the day of the event. Children under the age of 2 will be admitted for free.
